The 'digital dividend'

Advancing the SEQ 'digital dividend' is at the heart of this community of practice, refering to the economic, social and environmental benefits derived from investing in digital infrastructure and data leadership. By enhancing digital connectivity, digital literacy, and our capability to do new things with data, the SEQ region can improve productivity, attract tech-driven and knowledge intensive industries, and support innovation. Access to the 'right' data insights enables better decision-making in sectors like transport, health, and urban planning. This digital transformation fosters a more efficient economy, creating new jobs, boosting regional competitiveness, and enhancing quality of life. As SEQ embraces the enabling power of digital and data, it positions itself as a leader in the digital economy in Australia and internationally.
